Celtic drawn against Hibs in Scottish Cup Quarter Final

Celtic have been drawn against Hibernian in the Scottish Cup Quarter Finals. Brendan Rodgers’ side sealed their place in the hat on Monday evening with Saturday’s 5-0 win over Raith Rovers. Hibs, meanwhile, beat Ayr United the night before to take their place in the draw.

The draw was conducted after Hearts’ dramatic penalty win over St Mirren. Celtic will host Hibs while Aberdeen face Queen’s Park at Pittodrie, Hearts face Dundee at Tynecastle and Livingston face St Johnstone at Almondvale.

The games will take place on the weekend of 8th/9th March. Teams will be looking at booking their place at Hampden, with Semi Finals scheduled on 19/20th April before the showpiece Final on 24th May.

(Hopefully) when the Celts go up to lift the Scottish Cup, we’ll be there!

Meanwhile, Celtic’s immediate focus will be progressing in the UEFA Champions League against Bayern Munich. The Scottish Champions face the Bundesliga leaders on Wednesday night.
