Celtic drawn to face Dundee in Scottish Cup Fifth Round

Celtic have been drawn to face Dundee in the Fifth Round of the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup. Martin O’Neill’s side were comfortable winners against Auchinleck Talbot at Rugby Park.

After the action ended, the draw for the next round took place with ex-Rangers midfielder Steven Davis in situ to pick the names out the hat.

Celtic were drawn to face Steven Pressley’s Dundee who beat Killie at Rugby Park on Saturday. The Dens Park club beat Celtic back in October and will fancy their chances.

Celtic will be hoping to have added attackers to their ranks after a fairly blunted display in the final third this afternoon.

The games will take place on the weekend of February 7/8 with details to be confirmed in due course. The draw in full:

Aberdeen v Motherwell
Airdrie v St Mirren
Dundee United v The Spartans
Dunfermline Athletic v Kelty Hearts
Stenhousemuir v Falkirk
Rangers v Stranraer/Queen’s Park
Celtic v Dundee
Elgin City v Partick Thistle
