Has Celtic ever had a player called Jeffrey before?

HOPEFULLY Seville will firm up their interest in Celtic’s want away Belgian Dedryck Boyata. He might get away with playing on Thursday night infront of a handful of Celtic supporters but running out at Parkhead on Sunday against Hamilton could be messy to say the least.

Is this our replacement or is it just another rumour? Jeffrey Bruma seems to know as much as the rest of us about the apparent Celtic interest.

Have we ever had a player called Jeffrey before?

Then there’s the McKenna story, which one tabloid ran with this morning and another said there was no bid. To be fair, so did the Aberdeen Evening Express, who apparently got that from Pittodrie.

And if we do bid it will be rejected apparently. Sounds like a re-run of the John McGinn saga. Do none of these Scottish sides want our money any more?
