Celtic’s tribute to Bertie, the Celtic Star signifying the European Cup win in 1967 and YNWA and that’s something that Bertie – Mr Celtic – never did.
Earlier in the day Celtic’s Interim CEO Michael Nicholson, manager Ange Postecoglou and club captain Callum McGregor paid their own respect by laying a wreath outside the stadium for the Lisbon Lion.
One of our tributes to the late, great Bertie Auld. A hero in the green and white of Celtic, we also recognise and celebrate his contributions at @BCFC, @Dumbartonfc, @HibernianFC, @PartickThistle and @acciesfc pic.twitter.com/eryaGQyZSB

💨 Sadly due to the wind the tribute will need to come down tonight.
Weather looks better from next week so we aim to have it back up from Sunday through to the Aberdeen game.

The vast majority of my tour guests yesterday were Danish fans paying a visit to Paradise en route to Hampden. 🇩🇰
Without exception, they were an absolute credit. Respectful outside the stadium as they watched supporters pay tributes to Bertie then fully engaged on the tour.⭐️ pic.twitter.com/g8AMzU5n20

The last hurrah. At the end of July,
I phoned Bertie and his son Robert to come out to the studio to share a coffee, chat and a look around the Celtic room just to get him out of the house. A proper footballer, a Lisbon lion, a legend. Rest in peace Bertie Auld. 🙏💔#Celtic pic.twitter.com/gy0ZVTimNk— Peter Martin (@PeterMsport) November 14, 2021
Our duty as Celtic fans is to pass down to our kids, grandchildren and other younger supporters we know the history of our club and the tales of our heroes so that they never die in our hearts my dad always spoke of Charlie tully that much that it made me find out more about him and now as an older fan myself it is now my turn.
