Celtic fans set to fork out again after Sky decision

CELTIC fans look set to be charged again in the wake of Sky Sports’ decision not to select the game at Easter Road for showing. With no fans allowed in grounds, supporters have to rely on the broadcasters for their away games. However, with the news that Livi v Celtic will be on TV, supporters were left disappointed when the league announced that Sky Sports were not taking their cameras to Celtic visit to Edinburgh.

Now, supporters will have to pay the Hibs PPV if they want to show the match on November 21 meaning that supporters will be left with another expense. Supporters will need to have BT Sport if they want to watch Celtic play in Europe, Premier Sport if they want to watch the Betfred Cup/Scottish Cup and then finally Sky if they want away league matches on top of their Season ticket for home matches.

Celtic will face Aberdeen on Sunday on Sky before facing Lille in the Europa League on Thursday before a trip to Hampden the following weekend. It is a hectic schedule for Neil Lennon’s side but one that will help determine where whether Celtic achieve 10IAR.
