Celtic Fans TV – Post match Reaction from Firhill, praise for Gamboa

Celtic Fans TV were outside Firhill yesterday to interview Celtic supporters leaving the game after the 3-1 victory in the League Cup got our season back on track after defeats at Tyncastle and in the Olympic Stadium in Athens.

Goals from Leigh Griffiths, Moussa Dembele and Tom Rogic were enough to secure Celtic’s place in the quarter finals and means that we are only 90 minutes away from Hampden, for the semi-finals.

Brendan Rodgers has a 100% win record at Hampden as Celtic manager – he also has a 100% record at Ibrox too, maybe that’s the real reason why they don’t want us in the Free Boomloan?

The Celtic TV team in this episode discuss yesterday’ performance, and in particular The Celtic Star’s Man of the Match Cristian Gamboa.

Also discussed is how many more additions we need in the transfer window and there a look ahead to Thursday game against Suduva in Europa League Play-Off, First Leg.

This was recorded immediately post-match so the news that Boyata would be back for that game hadn’t filtered through to the support at this stage. They probably read about it on The Celtic Star on their way home.
