Celtic get Forfar in SWPL semi-final draw

CELTIC have been drawn against Forfar on the semi-finals of the SPWL League Cup. The team came through a tough challenge in the quarter final yesterday, winning by 3-0, much to the delight of Head Coach David Haley, and have been rewarded with the draw against Forfar who they beat two weeks ago in the league.

The Celtic boss was delighted with yesterday’s quarter final win and with the fact that new signing Giard scored her first two goals for the Hoops at Hamilton.

“She has been unlucky the past couple of weeks. She’s hit the post, and especially at Forfar the goalkeeper has pulled off two phenomenal saves, so it’s good to get her up and running,” Haley said.

The SWPL League Cup semi-final will take place at Falkirk Stadium on 29 April, with the kick-off time and entry price still to be determined.
