Celtic given decent ticket allocation for McDiarmid Park

Celtic Ticket Office has confirmed that the ticket allocation that the club has received for the Scottish Premiership match against St.Johnstone at McDiarmid Park on Sunday 3rd December. This game has a midday kick-off.

Saints are one of just two sides who have taken a point from undefeated Celtic in the Scottish Premiership this season, after that frustrating goalless draw at Celtic Park at the end of December.

The other side to get a point from Celtic was Hibs in the recent match at Easter Road and even as recently as yesterday at his media conference immediately after the Celtic PLC AGM Brendan Rodgers was bemoaning those two draws, believing that they were games that his side deserved to win.

“If you look there is virtually a third of the season gone so far and I have been really pleased. There are always going to be elements where we can be better and improve. That’s something that we focus on daily.

“Over the piece, I have been delighted with the attitude of the players, the mentality and some of the football that we have played. We have suffered with injuries to many important players, but the team and the squad have coped really well and produced some fantastic football.”

The Celtic manager added: “I think if I look domestically, we clearly should have had 13 out of 13 wins. The two games we drew we could have won but we didn’t. We learned from them.”

Full media conference with Brendan Rodgers is available below.

Before taking on St Johnstone, Celtic face Motherwell at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon (3pm) then Lazio in Rome on Tuesday tea-time (5.45pm kick-off), so two wins in those games will set us up nicety for a trip to Perth where Celtic will have 4,455 supporters there to cheer on the Hoops.
