A Celtic January transfer target is reportedly available for a knockdown price due, to Man United’s need to keep within PSR rules…

The Red Devils are going through a considerable rebuild of their own this summer window, with several high-profile names on the outgoings list as the likes of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho are all surplus to requirements.
Manager Ruben Amorim wants a clean break with the past and has told a clutch of players they are free to find a new club. More importantly, amongst that cluster of players is former Celtic target Tyrell Malacia, who Brendan Rodgers was interested in bringing to Celtic Park last January, with a temporary switch mooted in the mainstream media.
However, that one never transpired and the player himself ended up moving to PSV Eindhoven for the second-half of the season, whilst the Bhoys brought in Jeffrey Schlupp from Crystal Palace on-loan. Eindhoven decided not to take up the option to sign the player on a permanent basis from United and the defender is now in limbo with his future up in the air as it stands.

He has returned to the club after the summer break but has been told to find new employment as he will not be in the Portuguese coach’s plans. However, according to the Manchester Evening News, the Old Trafford club must sell Malacia for at least £3.22 million “to avoid another loss under profit and sustainability (PSR).”
Malacia hasn’t been setting the world alight of late and hasn’t been without his injury issues, but at the same time, Manchester United have been in disarray for some time, so it can’t entirely be down to the player his lack of form.
Before he joined the English Premier League giants he was highly-regarded inside Holland and it is rumoured that his old club Feyenoord could be a possible destination having just sold their left-back, Quilindschy Hartman, to newly-promoted Burnley.
It’s certainly worth keeping an eye on this one as Tyrell Malacia may see Celtic as the perfect place to reboot his career and play in the Champions League.

This would be an immense signing BUT I’m not too sure he would want to play 2nd fiddle to KT. There’s also the fact this dude is on £75k a week wages. So I can’t see it happening unfortunately unless it’s a loan, even then that is unlikely because Man Uts need to sell.
