Celtic promise ‘additional value’ to season ticket holders as deadline approaches

CELTIC have announced that they will be offering supporters ‘significant added value’ to their season ticket for this year and years to come in order to compensate for missed matches at Paradise due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement on the club’s website, the Scottish Champions confirmed that there would be more than just a live access e-ticket to stream all matches online. The club have already hired the team behind BT Sport in order to produce match day content; however, supporters were upset that the club were not offering refunds for the games missed or even discounts for multiple ST’s per household.

“While we aim to ensure that our supporters are back as soon as possible, during the period where this is not possible, we are of course investing significantly into the “Online Pass to Paradise” streaming platform, working with top production company Sunset+Vine to deliver enhanced match coverage of the Champions as we go for Ten!”

The club have announced that they intend to give additional value to season ticket holders for not only this season but coming seasons to reward them for their loyalty. Whilst they do not specify, which is probably down to fiscal responsibility and talks with supporters groups, it is important that the club have stated this ahead of the ticket renewal deadline at the end of the month.

“There is a shared understanding that the Club and supporters are facing unprecedented circumstances and of course we face a developing situation. Against this backdrop, while we are unable to be specific at the moment, or give any commitments, it is important for the Club to clarify that our supporters can rest assured that it is our firm intention to give additional value to our season ticket holders for this and coming seasons. We will monitor this situation as this season progresses.”

As the club approach a once in a lifetime opportunity, it is imperative that the best possible team is on the park to deliver 10IAR. This means that we need to, where possible, renew and help support the club so that they can invest in the playing squad to ensure that we are as strong as possible.
