Celtic star Nicolas Kühn has been included in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Week after his exploits on Matchday Four. The right winger scored twice as Brendan Rodgers’ team beat Bundesliga side RB Leipzig in an excellent display under the lights at Paradise.
While there were many impressive displays across the pitch, Kühn’s goals set him apart and he received the MOTM. Now, he’s been included in the Team of the Week alongside some other bright stars in Europe’s top competition.

Kühn was unlucky not to pick up an assist after an utterly outrageous pass for Daizen Maeda. The German picked out a run from the Japanese winger with an outside of the foot pass that fell perfectly into his path. Unfortunately Daizen sent it into the Lisbon Lions Stand.
The ex-Bayern prospect has been incredible this season, really kicking on from a sluggish start to life at Celtic in January. Since then, he’s shown his attacking prowess, linking up brilliantly with Alistair Johnston and providing real quality down the right side. There are times that the ball appears to be stuck to Kühn’s boots as he manages to get through traffic and find a pass.
Well done to the player and long may it continue.
Opta had Engels.
