Celtic midfielder David Turnbull has shared a picture of two unique Champions League keepsakes. The 23-year-old was able to snare both Toni Kroos and Karim Benzema’s shirts after the games between Celtic and Real Madrid in Europe this season.
Turnbull came off the bench in both games as the European Champions ran out winner; however, in his time on the pitch, the Scotland Internationalist was able to get the two prize items. Posting on Instagram, Turnbull showed off the shirts, that he has framed.
When Turnbull retires as a player, he will be able to look back and reflect fondly on playing in the Champions League and coming up against decorated players like Benzema and Kroos.
