Celtic fullback Greg Taylor showed his class with a gesture to a mascot from the UEFA Champions League win over RB Leipzig. Taylor started against the Germans as Brendan Rodgers’ side won 3-1 in a memorable European night at Celtic Park.
A Twitter/X user has shared that their daughter, who was a mascot in the game, received an unexpected gift from the Celtic defender.
My little girl was a CL mascot at the Leipzig game. She walked out with Taylor. A few days later she got his shirt in the post 👍🏻🍀 pic.twitter.com/Sm2x6WRotW

This is not the first classy gesture from GT3 in recent weeks. Taylor has also quietly been doing charity work for Ardgowan Hospice this Christmas, raising awareness for the work that they do.
Taylor’s contract expires this summer and the hope is that a deal can be struck with the Scotland Internationalist. There are more pressing matters – such as the League Cup Final – but it is clear that the Greenock-born defender has really bought into Celtic’s culture and is a key figure in the changing room.
