After the last round of SWPL1 games before the league’s first ever split the fixtures have now been released and unlike in the Scottish Premiership the top six teams will play each other home and away.
Glasgow City go into the split as firm favourites to win the title but both Celtic and The Other Mob still have high hopes of clawing back their lead, Celtic are six points adrift while the current Champions are a point behind Fran Alonso’s side. Yet with three teams eyeing the title, with each playing each other twice, there’s a different dynamic to the Scottish Premiership two-horse race and both Celtic and The Other Mob are both more than capable of taking points from Glasgow City.

Fran Alonso has ten league matches and on top of that the Scottish Cup to defend and that continues this coming Sunday with a tough fixture away to Hearts in the quarter-final. So it’s three wins in the Scottish Cup to retain the trophy and it’s going to need an exceptional effort in the SWPL1 if Celtic are to come out as first-time ever Champions. It’s unlikely that Fran will be anything other than optimistic about his team’s chances and the more backing the side can get from our support the better.
Here are the ten games which Celtic FC Women face as they chase the title…
Monday 27th March – theRangers v CELTIC – at Broadwood, where there will be a Celtic end.
Sunday 2nd April – CELTIC v Partick Thistle – Excelsior Stadium
