Celtic target Racially Abused on social media after Paddy Roberts-like miss

Celtic target Bright Osayi-Samuel was last night racially abused on social media by his own supporters after QPR’s 1-1 drew with Norwich. Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph confirmed this racial abuse earlier this morning, tweeting: “Bright Osayi-Samuel has revealed he was racially abused on social media after QPR’s 1-1 draw with Norwich on last night.”

Tom McNeil reported on a last minute miss by Bright Osayi-Samuel which was similar to the Paddy Roberts sitter in that awful Scottish Cup semi-final match against theRangers in April 2016 – remarkably the last time Celtic lost a Scottish Cup match. Had the Celtic target scored that chance to give QPR the win Bright Osayi-Samuel would have been a hero but those fans would remain racists imbeciles.

Here’s how Tom reported on the sitter from the Celtic target who could be a January signing on a pre-contract for Neil Lennon…

QPR winger Bright Osayi-Samuel has been linked with Celtic on a consistent basis so you have to think there is some interest there, but it’s hard to tell if he would be a good signing.

The links came up again yesterday as Glasgow Live reported on comments that he was hurting QPR by dragging out his contract situation so Celtic would be able to sign him for free in the summer.

He’s a winger who can play on either side and he’s blisteringly quick with and without the ball so he could bring something new to the Celtic attack, but he’s still growing as a player and inconsistency is a problem.

He showed some positives in their game tonight when he took responsibility to score a late penalty against Norwich, but he then ruined that with a truly awful miss in the final moments where a goal would’ve given them all three points:
