Celtic tease stunning Adidas announcement, set to be popular

Celtic have teased an exciting new announcement with Adidas. In a tweet on Thursday, the club have confirmed that details will be released of what seems to be club-branded Samba trainers on Friday morning. The Scottish Champions are enjoying their relationship with the German manufacturers, with supporters forking out for the quality, eye-catching kit.

A supporter on Twitter has updated a ‘leaked’ image of what the shoe would look like and it will certainly be popular. Adidas trainers have been synonymous with football since the 1970s when British supporters travelled to Europe to support their teams and came back with the latest clobber, often produced by Adidas.

Adidas are enjoying working with Celtic’s colours and history with the Fourth jersey that was released this month a nod to the club’s Irish heritage. Also this month, the club released retro training gear taking its inspiration from the 1991-94 period in the club’s history. All will likely sell well but the timings of all raises questions about the cost of living and whether the consistent stream of new attire is needed in the current climate.

Nevertheless, the latest effort from Adidas with the trainers will almost certainly be a popular product for Celtic supporters.
