Celtic told to increase £8m bid to land Kasper Dolberg

Celtic have been told to increase their bid if they want to sign Kasper Dolberg. The 27-year-old is the Scottish Champions’ prime target to bolster their forward line.

However, Stephen McGowan in the Herald states that Anderlecht have rejected Celtic’s first bid and told Celtic to up their bid.

The report also states that the club and the player are yet to agree on personal terms. Somewhat concerningly, the report states that Anderlecht want to keep the player and would rather sell Argentine attacker Vasquez.

Dolberg came through the ranks at Ajax, where he became a prolific young striker. He later played for Nice, with loan spells at Sevilla and Hoffenheim. Since 2023, he’s excelled at Anderlecht. A Denmark international with 55 caps, Dolberg shone at Euro 2020, scoring crucial knockout goals.
