Celtic Tracking Ryan Gauld, Well Connected Transfer Guru Claims

Manuel Veth is the owner and Editor in Chief of the Futbolgrad Network. He is an area manager for Transfermarkt and also works as a freelance journalist for the Bundesliga and Pro Soccer USA. In other words, he is a very well connected man within the world of football transfers. This is of particular interest to Celtic supporters because today, Manuel has indicated that Celtic are watching Ryan Gauld with a view to a potential transfer.

Gauld burst onto the scene at Dundee United, before moving to Sporting Lisbon as a teenager. The move to Portugal’s capital didn’t quite work out, but he has since rediscovered himself as a playmaker at fellow Portuguese club Farense.

A number of clubs are tracking the player, whilst Vancouver have already issued a substantial bid for his services. However, Celtic’s reported interest clearly comes from a solid source, so there could be some mileage to the transfer connection. It remains to be seen whether the Hoops act on what they’ve seen.
