Celtic will face Aberdeen in the League Cup Semi-Final next month. The Scottish Champions had to come from behind twice to dismiss the Bairns, earning a place in the draw for the games at Hampden.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will now face Jimmy Thelin’s Aberdeen on Saturday 2nd November with the game kicking off at 5:30 pm. The game will be shown on Premier Sports, who have confirmed that they will be showing both Semi-Finals.
Celtic fans will be eagerly awaiting a return to Hampden as they bid to regain the League Cup. Brendan’s side won the Scottish Cup with a memorable last minute winner from Adam Idah but the manager will want his side to complete the set this year.

The kick-off time will likely upset some fair-weather Aberdeen fans, who want to pick their kick-off time but you would expect a healthy support to travel from the North East, given their impressive start to the season.
In the Sunday Semi-Final, Motherwell play Rangers at the National Stadium. It is a game that Celtic supporters will likely be tuning in for if we can overcome Aberdeen the day before. All four teams will be targeting a place in the December 15th League Cup Final, as
Celtic needed penalties to beat the Pittodrie side in last season’s Scottish Cup Semi-Final at Hampden. The Dons had Peter Leven at the helm after Neil Warnock’s failed reign, but they have been thoroughly impressive in the season’s opening weeks under Thelin’s new tenure.
