Celtic v Bodo/Glimt: Team news, KO time and where to watch

Celtic will this evening make history by making our debut in the Europa Conference League in the first leg of the play-off tie against the Norwegian Champions Bodo/Glimt, with a place in the last 16 at stake. Tonight’s visitors retained the Norwegian league title in December and have already beaten Roma 6-1 at home in an earlier round, drawing the match in the Italian capital. Put simply, they are no mugs.

Team News

Ange Postecoglou made numerous changes for the Scottish Cup match against Raith Rovers on Sunday with tonight’s match in mind. Expect to see Josip Juranovic in the starting line-up this evening after missing the previous two match with through illness. Callum McGregor sat out the 4-O win over the Kirkcaldy side but will start this evening, as will Jota, Abada and Greg Taylor.

Perhaps the only two questions that have to be answered is will Tom Rogic or Matt O’Riley start and who will Ange opt for as his main striker between Giorgos Giakoumakis and Daizen Maeda. As the Greek striker was selected for pre-match media duties yesterday that’s always a good indication that the player will be starting. So the unanswered question is will it be Rogic or O’Riley starting?

The likely Celtic team is Hart, Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; McGregor, Hatate and Rogic, Abada, Giakoumakis and Jota.

KO Time and where to watch

The game kicks off at 8pm (Celtic Park Time). The match is live on BT Sport (from 7.45pm) and will also be shown on Celtic TV outside of Britain and Ireland. Celtic Park is heading towards a 60,000 sell-out with the club announcing earlier today that the last few remaining tickets were still available for those still looking to get along to Paradise.
