CELTIC have announced that there will be a minute’s applause on Saturday ahead of the kick-off in tribute to both Jim Brogan and Graeme Morrison who sadly passed away this week.

The match against Aberdeen is a complete sell-out and the away support will be similar in numbers to the visiting Rangers support at the start of this month. For that game Police Scotland closed roads and restricted access routes around the stadium and this led to that awful crush situation on the passageway behind the North Stand.
For Saturday’s game against Aberdeen Celtic have confirmed that there will be no restrictions on movement around the stadium and there is unlikely to be any bother at all between the home support and the visiting fans from the North East.

So it is clear that the Policing plan for a game with Aberdeen visiting is different from a match against Rangers – the same applies at Ibrox. If the Police think that they can use their plans for a visit of Aberdeen to the stadium bought by Charles Green in 2012 for the visit of the Champions they are off their heads…
And the semi-final against Hearts will be on the Sunday evening at Hampden after they have cleared up the mess from the other semi-final which will have an early kick-off…it looks like a long day in the pub then!
