The date, time and broadcast details for Celtic’s Scottish Cup quarter-final tie against Hibs has been confirmed…

Brendan Rodgers’ side will host the Hibees at Celtic Park on Sunday 9 March with the game kicking off at 3:00pm. The cup tie will be shown live on Premier Sports.
These are the correct details after BBC Scotland had earlier jumped the gun and reported that the game would take place on Saturday 8 March with an evening kick-off. That was never confirmed by Celtic, or indeed Premier Sports – both of whom have confirmed the correct details, as shown below.
Celtic scored five in the fifth round
Celtic booked their place in the last eight of the competition with a thumping victory 5-0 over Scottish Championship side Raith Rovers in the previous round in Glasgow’s east end courtesy of Daizen Maeda’s hat-trick and strikes via Luke McCowan and Hyun-jun Yang.

Hibs currently on a ten-game unbeaten run
Meanwhile, the Hibees will be aiming to reach Hampden Park for the first time since November 2023. David Gray’s side are currently on a 10-game unbeaten run as they prepare to face Celtic at Easter Road on Saturday in the Scottish Premiership.

With Brendan Rodgers yet to lose at Hampden across his two spells as manager, the 51 year-old Celtic boss will be looking to seal another domestic Treble especially given nearest challengers theRangers were knocked out in the last 16 versus local rivals Queens Park.
Also live on Premier Sports during the weekend of four Scottish Cup quarter-final ties is Hearts vs Dundee; scheduled for a 7:45pm kick off on Friday 7 March at Tynecastle.

BBC One Scotland will produce coverage of Aberdeen vs Queens Park at 12:30pm on Saturday 8 March. Whilst BBC Scotland are televising Livingston vs St Johnstone at 7:45pm on Monday 10 March.
If Celtic secure a place in the Scottish Cup semi-final, the Hoops will be in the hat for the draw which will commence after David Martindale’s Livingston battle it out against relegation-threatened St Johnstone.
