Celtic v Kilmarnock: Let’s get Celtic Park rocking today

Let’s get Celtic Park rocking today, every game until May should now be treated like a cup final…

It’s been three long weeks since our last home game and today we can finally make that trip to paradise for a traditional 3pm kick off. Kilmarnock are the visitors for what will undoubtedly be a tough game, so we’ve got to give the players all the support we can so it’s vital we have the place rocking come kick off.

Celtic Park is usually like a library for most ‘run of the mill’ league games, but today it’s got to be more like a European night or Derby Day atmosphere for games such as today. Each and every game until May is now going to be like a Cup Final, so we should expect the atmosphere to reflect just that.

The Green Brigade and Bhoys Celtic are always making their voices heard and add to an otherwise flat atmosphere, so now is the time for the rest of the stadium to join in and add more to that atmosphere. It can make such a difference to what we see on the field. There is undoubtedly dark clouds hanging over our club at the moment for various reasons that we all know, but we’ve got to block that out for 90 plus minutes today and give the players our full support.

If we do just that then I’m confident the players will give us the comprehensive win we all desire. Yes it’s the players job to produce the goods on the field, but we can play our part off it too. Ultimately everyone concerned with Celtic – whether on or off the park – has now got to stand up and show that as a collective we want to win this league title. Otherwise we’re gift wrapping it for that mob across the road.  It’s up to us. See you at Paradise and let’s make some Noise for the Bhoys”

  1. Well said. EVERYONE should get behind the team from the off. Unfortunately another well know blogger who is never slow to have a go at the GB is urging the very same group to fill the place with negativity re the board today. There is a time and place for that but not while the team are trying to secure three massive points today.
