Celtic v Rangers: SFA confirm officials for Scottish Cup Semi Final

The SFA have confirmed the match official appointments for this Celtic’s Scottish Cup Semi Final against Rangers. The Glasgow Derby will play out at the National Stadium on Sunday with the winners set to face the winners of the Saturday match between Falkirk and Inverness CT at Hampden.

Willie Collum has been confirmed as the referee. Daniel McFarlane and Dougie Potter will run the lines as Assistant Referees with Don Robertson acting as fourth official. Meanwhile at Clydesdale House, Steven McLean has been chosen as VAR and he will be assisted by Frank Connor.

Collum was the VAR official for the 2-2 draw at Ibrox, where Kyogo sealed a point for Ange Postecoglou’s side. However, he and referee John Beaton were unable to spot Connor Goldson’s blatant handball from a Carl Starfelt shot.

Hopefully, the game will not be about Collum or his fellow match officials. Celtic are three games away from a Treble, starting on Sunday.
