Celtic v Rangers: Team News, Match Officials, KO time and Where to Watch

NIALL J – Scottish Cup Semi-Final Prediction…

Celtic 3-1 theRangers

With Ange Postecoglou confirming Jota, Hatate and Abada have all trained this week Celtic have three been there and done it ‘skelpers back in the mix. That is news that will elevate Celtic squad spirits and at the same time deflate a few in the opposing dressing room.  Even if two out the three start the game from the bench, they are there to be called upon and we – and they – know what they are capable of. All have history of impacting games like this.
In truth I fear officialdom and the Hampden pitch, perhaps even more than the opposition as a barrier to a Celtic success. But I have every faith in our manager and players rising to the occasion and letting their talents overcome any obstacles that come their way. And if it goes beyond the ninety, I think we are also the fitter side.
I think Celtic will win this, and I don’t think we’ll need anything more than the 90 odd minutes. I think we’ll win with a couple of goals to spare and I’ll plump for 3-1 to the Celts as the final score and a darn good shot at the Treble to follow.
If Jota starts, he’s a stick on for a goal. And Kyogo has them entirely sussed. If we find some consistently accurate passing onto those wonderful runs, then he’s good for a brace – and a man of the match award.
If I was confident before it increased markedly with the news Jota, Hatate and Abada are back in play, and it may be the lifted the squad every bit as much as the support.
