Celtic v St Johnstone – officials announced for Christmas Eve clash

Celtic face St Johnstone on Saturday as Ange Postecoglou’s men look to continue their robust run since the return from the winter break. Kevin Clancy will referee the match.

After two wins by a single goal margin, Callum Davidson’s Saints arrive looking to cause difficulties for the Scottish Champions. They’ll be buoyed by the performance of Livingston, who put up a fight but were ultimately beaten by the professional, albeit rusty, Celtic.

Clancy will be assisted by Alan Mulvanny and John McCrossan. Lloyd Wilson acts as the Fouryh Official. Mike Roncone is on the VAR duties, assisted by Gary Hilland.

The game kicks off at 12:30pm, Celtic Park time. Celtic play after Rangers yet again with the second placed side playing on Friday evening against Ross County.

Clancy has only refereed Celtic once this season, coming in the 2-0 win over Hearts. He sent two Hearts players off that day, along with brandishing five yellow cards.
