Celtic v St Johnstone – team news, KO time, where to watch

Celtic face St Johnstone today in the final game before the split. After the win at Ibrox last Sunday, Ange Postecoglou’s side can go nine points clear over Rangers with a win over the Perth outfit.

Callum Davidson’s side are clawing their way back from the drop door to the Championship and sill be determined to continue a strong run of form at Paradise.

Team News

The manager is boosted by Kyogo’s return but James Forrest remains out with a knock. Christopher Jullien didn’t make the squad for the win at Ibrox; however, he’s trained this week and will be hoping to get some game time.

Liel Abada showed that he gets chances whenever he’s on the pitch at Ibrox. He will be hoping to start the game as Ange considers who may benefit from a rest with another huge game next weekend. That being so, the team know the importance of this game and that any slip will undo the hard work in Govan last weekend.

Predicted XI: Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; McGregor, Rogic, O’Riley; Jota, Giakoumakis, Abada.

Kick Off Time

The game kicks off at 3pm (Celtic Park time).

Where to Watch

The game is sold out as fans make their way to Glasgow on a sunny Spring afternoon. The game is being shown for those unable to attend on the Pass to Paradise. For fans out with Britain & Ireland, the game will be on Celtic TV. For those within, the game is being shown via PPV – which is available on the club website.
