Celtic vs St Johnstone – kick off time, team news, where to watch

Celtic will face St Johnstone tonight in Scott Brown’s last game at Celtic Park. The club captain will be looking to finish his Celtic career on a high with two wins in his final games. It is the final league game at Paradise this season and hopefully it will be the last using the online season ticket portal.

Kick Off – 6.30pm

The game will kick off at 6.30pm; however, the Pass to Paradise will begin at 5.15pm with a pre-match show dedicated to departing skipper Brown. The Pass to Paradise is the only place to watch the game tonight.

Team News

Scott Bain will miss the game after a finger injury leaving the door ajar for Vasilis Barkas to make a Celtic return. The goalkeeper has endured a torrid time since joining from AEK Athens in the summer, playing just twenty times this season.

Kennedy also promised that a number of fringe players would be given the chance to gain some minutes. Christopher Jullien is still injured but the club expect he may be fit for the beginning of August, which would an enormous boost ahead of the new season.

Celtic will be hoping to get a closer look at Ali McCann, the Saints midfielder who has impressed so far this year. McCann has been tipped as being the potential replacement for Scott Brown in the midfield but it remains to be seen whether Celtic will move for the Irishman.
