Celtic youngster joins Clyde until the end of the season

Celtic youngster Ewan Otoo has joined Clyde FC on loan until the end of the season. The 18-year-old defender will join up with Danny Lennon’s side ahead of the Scottish Cup meeting with Keith tonight. Otoo has a deal until 2024 and can play in midfield as well as at the back, he leaves the club on a temporary deal to gain exposure in a first team setting.

Otoo has been with Celtic since he was eight and will be hoping that he can use the loan spell with the League One strugglers to showcase his potential to the Parkhead side.

Otoo will be involved with a groundshare with his new side as their Broadwood base will be used by Queen’s Park ahead of the Euros. Otoo’s Celtic teammates Ryan Mullen and Luca Connell will swap Hampden for the Cumbernauld astro as the Scottish Cup semi-finals, finals and Euro matches approach.
