Celtic’s 9-in-a-row as Dundee confirm Yes vote

DUNDEE FC have today submitted a Yes vote to the SPFL’s resolution to end the lower league seasons early and release the prize money to clubs.

In what has been one of the most bizarre episodes in Scottish football history, the Dens Park club have confirmed a Yes vote meaning that Celtic will be declared Champions should the league be declared finished.

The SPFL are committed to exploring reconstruction, which would be a fair solution to a lot of the troubles proposed in the first place. Turkeys don’t want to vote for Christmas after all.

A new reconstructed league would mitigate the losers and its would be a ‘winners and no losers scenario’ with clubs like Falkirk rewarded for their good seasons despite not being top.

The league officials this morning warned that games wouldn’t be played until August at the earliest, meaning that this campaign is all but finished.

This means that Celtic will be crowned 9-in-a-row Champions. Equalling Jock Stein’s record. It is, of course, on a bitter note. The supporters would have preferred to have a party having won the league on the park but this unprecedented situation.
