Celtic’s Goal of the Month Contenders for January

Celtic have now opened their monthly competition which involves picking the Goal of the Month. There are a good few crackers in this one and they range from the First-team, to the B-team, and the Women’s team. As usual, there is a competition which accompanies this and you – the supporters – can win a signed Celtic home shirt if the expert chooses the same goal as you!

It’s been a very good month for all three Celtic sides and especially so for the first-team – going on a consistent run of clean sheets of late. We’ve made the Viaplay League Cup Final against our fierce rivals next month, maintained our nine-point lead at the summit of Scottish football, whilst earning a safe passage into the next round of the Scottish Cup, courtesy of a comprehensive home rout against Greenock Morton.

The goals that have been included are as follows:

Goal A – Kyogo v theRangers

Goal B – Quinn v Civil Service Rollers

Goal C – Menglu v Falkirk

Goal D – Kyogo v St Mirren

Goal E – David Turnbull v St Mirren

Goal F – Jota v Dundee United

I have to say, it would be a toss up between the Kyogo chip versus St Mirren and Jota’s ridiculous header on Sunday against Dundee United for me…

They’re both so good!!!

Watch the video of all the goals below and click on the link that Celtic have attached to get involved. Somebody has to win it – it might as well be you!

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
