Since arriving from Vissel Kobe in 2021, Kyogo has become a key part of the club’s successes under Ange Postecoglou and now Brendan. In 158 appearances, Kyogo has scored 83 goals and assisted on 18 occasions.
MLS side Atlanta United, who recently appointed Ronny Deila as Head Coach, have been cited as having an interest in the 29-year-old. The American outfit will reportedly offer £10m for the player that turns 30 this month. Given his value in goals to the club, Celtic would be demanding north of that figure if they were even to entertain losing the Japanese star.
Every striker wants a goal return to keep there confidence high.
So was delighted to see kyogo grab a couple for himself last time out, especially as he needed to imo?
The chances aren’t as frequent for kyogo these days, with a far more precision approach taken by Rodgers in the attacking third?
So in return kyogo has had to make a few adjustments within his overall game to suit also?
Still admire kyogo as a player, especially with the amount of work he puts into a game, without getting the just rewards for himself?
But Rodgers looks at a whole team making big contributions, even if kyogo has to adapt to moments within a game for himself, moreso these days imo?
Still remain a huge fan of kyogo as a player for ourselves, yet wouldn’t like to call what his future with ourselves, will be come the summer?
But until then, I going to Still enjoy what kyogo provides for our club, and would be delighted for him to add a few more to his hun skelping record today also
