Glasgow Irish band, Glasnevin, are popular performers with the Celtic support. The two piece Irish band travel abroad to perform for Celtic supporters at European away matches, as well as playing gigs in Glasgow, Ireland and beyond.
The band released their debut album a few years ago, titled We Only Want The Earth. The CD was comprised of Irish folk/rebel songs, many of which were lesser known titles. Following that success, and to mark 10 years on the road together, the band have now announced that they will be releasing a second album next week.
This time, the CD will focus on classic Celtic songs.

The Celtic support are unique in that they have written songs of triumph and tragedy in folk style throughout the years. This stems from the club and its supporters’ combined Irish and Scottish culture, of which music plays a huge part.
The CD will be available next week and the digital version will be on iTunes and Spotify in July.
