NEIL LENNON has named a much changed Celtic side from the one that defeated the Rangers in the League Cup Final on Sunday at Hampden for this evening’s final Europa League Group match against Cluj. The Romanian Champions need at least a point to be guaranteed their place alongside Group winners Celtic in the knock-out rounds which kick-off in February 2020. Although Celtic could win tonight and provided Rennes take something from Lazio in the other match then that would also be enough for Cluj to go through and Lazio to go out.
So a Celtic and Rennes double would be the ideal results.
Craig Gordon is in goals. The back four is Moritz Bauer, Christopher Jullien, Nir Bitton and Boli Bolingoli.
Oliver Ntcham will captain the side and he’ll be joined in midfield by debut Bhoy Scott Robertson. The three offensive midfielders are Scotty Sinclair, Lewis Morgan and Mikey Johnston – it will be interesting to see which one plays as the Number 10 – and Leigh Griffiths leads the line.
The Celtic bench has Hazard, Taylor, Bayo, Ajer, Forrest, Savoury and Dembele.
Kick-off is at 5.55pm
