Done Deal: Leigh Griffiths Joins Dundee On Season Long Loan

Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has joined fellow SPFL club Dundee on a season long loan. The deal was officially announced in the last 15 minutes and will see the player go back to Dens Park, where he enjoyed a successful spell a decade ago .

Griffiths scored 21 goals in 47 league games for The Dark Blues between 2009 and 2011, before joining Wolverhampton Wanderers. His career then saw him move to his boyhood heroes Hibernian until Neil Lennon brought him to Paradise.

Having struggled for game time and been plagued by issues off the field, the loan transfer makes sense for all parties.

Best of luck Leigh!
