Edouard breaks silence on Celtic exit speculation

ODSONNE EDOUARD has broken his silence on speculation linking him with a move away from Celtic in an interview with French TV. The 22-year-old was speaking ahead of Celtic’s Europa League match away to Lille when asked where he would like to play “in an ideal world.”

The talisman has just recovered from Coronavirus, meaning he missed the last three games but he will be hoping to come back and play his part as Celtic go for 10IAR. Edouard isn’t thinking too much about a move away from the club, instead humbly saying that when the time comes he would like to compete at a higher level.

The Frenchman was in incredible form last season, scoring 28 goals and notching 12 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions as Celtic steamed towards matching Jock Stein’s 1974 record. Now, with a new deal behind him he can be the man to fire us to 10IAR.

Hopefully when back, Edouard shows the form of last year as opposed to a lacklustre few games in the past. Edouard is of the upmost importance to Celtic’s 10IAR bid and if this means managing his game times to avoid injuries then it is important that we do that.
