Some of the players are dreadful. And I don’t think they’re all second stringers, in for you injured players. Need to hunt the manager, and also a good number of the players as well. “Those 3 Celtic games will haunt us. We could, and should, have won all three. We lost all of them to late goals. We are top scorers in the League, we have conceded fewer goals than anybody else in the League – yet find ourselves third due mainly to those OF (sic) games. Beat City in our last game and there’s an outside chance we could hand the title to Celtic – a team who are, by a mile, the poorest of the top three. Incredible.”
“Completely unacceptable given what the club have spent in comparison to every other club in the league. If we don’t get top two and a CL place it will be scandalous given the spend. Anyone who’s watched a lot of the team this season will see we probably have better players in each position than any other team in the league however selection, tactics and substitutions are lacking – this has been particularly prevalent in games v Celtic. The blame for that lies squarely at the coaching staff’s door.”
