Everyone has their part to play. From supporters to players, let’s do this

It’s match day and later this evening we will take on Swiss side Young Boys at Paradise in one of our most vital European fixtures in recent years as we aim to all but clinch a place in the play off spots.

A play off spot that would see us in touching distance of advancing to the last 16 of football’s greatest club competition.

An opportunity To mix it with the best sides in European football at the knockout stage which will not only be financially rewarding, but also give us a great sense of pride and achievement in an era that makes competing at that level extremely difficult due to financial gulf that exists in the modern game.

Everyone has their part to play tonight to make sure we keep that dream a reality. From the supporters to the players, we all have a collective responsibility.

Us as supporters have to fully back the side and stick with the players for the full 90 plus minutes.

No moans and groans if it isn’t going to plan in the early stages, give the players our full support and make Celtic Park the cauldron we all know it can be on a big European night.

The players of course also have to play their part and put in the effort and ability we know they are capable of at this level.

They need to replicate the performance they produced against Slovan Bratislava and Leipzig earlier in the competition.

If they do just that then I’m more than confident we will all be celebrating later this evening.

About Author

An ordinary everyday Celtic supporters hailing and still residing in Govan in the shadows of the enemy. I’m a season ticket holder. I Witnessed my first Celtic game in 1988 and have attended when I can ever since. Growing up in the 90s I witnessed Celtic at their lowest, and now appreciate the historic success we enjoy today. I enjoy writing about this wonderful football club and hopefully will continue to do so. I’ve always been a keen writer and initially started this a hobby. My ambition is to one day become as good an author as my fellow Celtic Star colleagues.
