Ex-Premier League star bemused at Celtic star’sTOTS omission

Former Premier League player Trevor Sinclair has spoken out about Jota’s surprise omission from the PFA Scotland Team of the Year.

Celtic had seven players included but the superstar from Portugal was not included. Taking to Twitter, Celtic fan Sinclair commented his surprise at the decision, referencing the ten assists and thirteen goals that the winger has provided to support the argument.

Rangers’ Malik Tillman was included despite the uncanny ability to go missing in games against Celtic. Jota, meanwhile, has a track record of rising to the occasion in big games.

Jota scored the winner in the Scottish Cup Semi Final against Rangers to set up the opportunity of a Treble next month.

Joe Hart, Greg Taylor, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt, Reo Hatate, Callum McGregor and Kyogo made up the seven players from the Scottish Champions included in the team picked by fellow pros. James Tavernier took the right-back slot with Duk and Kevin Van Veen joining Tillman in the four players from outwith Ange’s Treble chasers.
