Fabricating facts to fuel the usual anti-Celtic agenda

Ewan Murray fabricating facts to fuel his usual anti-Celtic agenda…

Ewan Murray, the golf loving hack who takes the occasional interest in football, had his usual weekly anti Celtic rant, and used total fabrication to unleash his fury.

Reacting to Brendan Rodgers post match words on his players vital victory at Fir Park, Ewan yet again had a pop at our manager by posting on social media. ‘Celtic are £100m plus ahead of Motherwell. Brendan Rodgers cannot complain about Celtic and elite Champions League level narrative, as he did last week, while maintaining this theme.’

Brendan wasn’t complaining

Firstly no one can dispute we are miles in front of the rest of the league when it comes to financial power, we know that, and likewise we know we are on the other foot when it comes to competing against most teams in the Champions League.

But we never ever complain about that fact, it’s only supporters of other sides in Scotland who bring it up, and bitter hacks like Murray. Secondly Brendan Rodgers wasn’t complaining about it last week either. He did say having to play in Europe and juggle domestic football has its downfalls, but he never mentioned the gap in finances between us and Europe’s elite.

Ewan Murray is just fabricating stories to have a pop at our club, something he likes to do on a regular basis. He’s just bitter and rather sad.

About Author

An ordinary everyday Celtic supporters hailing and still residing in Govan in the shadows of the enemy. I’m a season ticket holder. I Witnessed my first Celtic game in 1988 and have attended when I can ever since. Growing up in the 90s I witnessed Celtic at their lowest, and now appreciate the historic success we enjoy today. I enjoy writing about this wonderful football club and hopefully will continue to do so. I’ve always been a keen writer and initially started this a hobby. My ambition is to one day become as good an author as my fellow Celtic Star colleagues.
