Former Celtic midfield duo join forces for life after football

Former Celtic midfield duo Stuart Armstrong and Ryan Christie are looking to life after football with the news that the pair have joined forces. The Highlanders played together at Celtic and were good pals off the pitch. Now, along with Denmark international Jannik Vestergaard, Christie and Armstrong have decided to start a property firm.

According to The Sun, the Scottish Internationals will work with the Leicester City centre-back in the property market in the South Coast. Armstrong left Celtic in the summer of 2018 for Southampton, having won eight trophies. Christie left the club at the beginning of the season for Bournemouth.

Celtic had held discussions with the Christie’s representatives about a possible stay but a decision to sell was made as the playmaker was free to leave for nothing as early as January. Christie was a mainstay in the Celtic sides that won the Treble Treble and Quadruple Treble and leaves to join the Championship club having scored 41 goals and 45 assists in 151 appearances for Celtic. His final appearance came in the defeat to Rangers, a poor end to what will be regarded as an excellent career in the Hoops.
