Former Celtic midfielder Scott Allan has signed on loan for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, until the end of the season. The 29-year-old is looking to build match fitness since being revealed to have a heart condition at the start of the season. Allan has made the decision to swap the Premiership side for the Highland outfit
Allan signed for Celtic in 2015 and he really struggled to settle in Glasgow after a move from Hibs. The playmaker was the subject of a fierce transfer tug-of-war between the Easter Road side, Rangers and Ronny Deila’s Celtic.

The player just made 17 appearances for Celtic before sealing a return to Easter Road. Allan was also offloaded to Rotherham and Dundee while at Celtic, with Stuart Armstrong, Tom Rogic and latterly Ryan Christie keeping him out of the team.
It would be good to see Allan get back to playing football, he is a talented footballer but Celtic just wasn’t the right move for him but to be fair to him, he had to try and make it work at the biggest team in the country.
