Having been linked with a summer move to Hearts, former Celtic winger Daniel Arzani has instead signed with Hungarian side Ferencvaros…

Arzani joined Celtic in August 2018 from Manchester City on a loan agreement set to run for two years. Current boss Brendan Rodgers handed him his first senior appearance in late October 2018 during a Scottish Premiership clash with Dundee.
An ACL injury during his debut sidelined him for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, the remainder of Celtic’s 2018/19 campaign, and the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship.

However, Arzani did reappear for Celtic in January 2020 during a Scottish Cup tie against Partick Thistle at Firhill. But that was the last we saw of him in a Hoops jersey.
Since his departure from Celtic five years ago, Arzani has featured for Utrecht, AGF, Lommel, Macarthur FC and Melbourne Victory. At 26, Arzani – whose time in Glasgow with Celtic was marred by injuries – was previously rumoured to be on Heart of Midlothian’s radar earlier in the summer.
Hearts had considered Arzani as a possible addition to strengthen their wide areas, with a move to Tynecastle appearing to be on the cards. Instead, the Australian international chose to join Hungarian champions Ferencvaros, now coached by former Celtic striker Robbie Keane.

During his brief loan spell with the Hoops, Keane made a significant impact with 16 goals and three assists across 19 matches. Appointed as Ferencvaros manager earlier this year, he quickly led the team to a championship triumph in Hungary’s top-flight last season.

Elsewhere, reports suggest that Ange Postecoglou could make a surprising return to coaching with a role in Saudi Arabia. Despite guiding Tottenham Hotspur to a Europa League victory, the former Celtic manager was dismissed by the North London side last week.
According to The Telegraph, he is reportedly being lined up to replace the highly regarded young German coach Matthias Jaissle at Saudi Pro League club Al Ahli.
