Former Celtic youngster signs for another Glasgow side

Former Celtic starlet Grant Savoury has signed for Queen’s Park. The youngster, who came through the ranks at Parkhead, left Peterhead at the end of the 2021/22 season. Now, the 21-year-old has been signed by the Glasgow outfit following their promotion.

The player has been confirmed on a two-year deal. He impressed with Peterhead, contributing to ten goals in twenty-five league appearances. Now, the attacking midfielder is going to play full-time football with The Spiders. Celtic released the player in 2020 as he failed to make the breakthrough; however, he was offered the chance to continue playing with Peterhead.

Owen Coyle has decided to stock up on players as they look to consolidate their place in the Championship having gained promotion via the play-offs. Queen’s Park could be a potential location for Celtic to send some players to given that they are intent on playing attacking, possession-based football. The player will join up with the Queen’s team ahead of the new season.
