Former Celtic duo Joe Ledley and Chris Sutton have responded to Scott Brown’s decision to sign a pre-contract with Aberdeen to become a player-coach with the Pittodrie side. After fourteen years in Glasgow’s East End, Brown has decided to transition into management with the North East outfit under former teammate Stephen Glass.
Sutton has praised Brown, wishing him luck as he moves on after a sensational haul of 22 trophies during his time at the club.
Good luck to Scott Brown on his next journey when he moves on to Aberdeen. He has been an outstanding player and leader for Celtic👏👏

Ledley meanwhile responded to the news calling Brown the best midfielder he ever played with.
Unbelievable what @ScottBrown8 has done for club for me he’s up there with the best midfielder I’ve played with his leadership and desire to win a football game is unbeatable, also what a great guy to come with it. Enjoy your new chapter pal. Legend 💚 https://t.co/7yu5AJnU9L

It is a bittersweet day for the club as a legend signals his intention to depart at the end of the season. However, it is enjoyable watching back at the success that Brown has helped bring to the club and the support. Even if he is going to Aberdeen, he will leave with everyone’s best wishes and hopefully he will depart with a Scottish Cup.
Elsewhere, broadcaster Connie McLaughlin shared her thoughts after the Celtic captain’s momentous decision to leave the club.
Many fans won’t remember another captain @CelticFC …14 years, an unbelievable servant, an unbelievable player and a gracious and humble human being. What a coup for @AberdeenFC https://t.co/pNprWBvL8A

Its to be assumed that Sevco won’t fancy Scott being at Aberdeen one little bit as they will see that as an annoyance they could do without next season.
