Game On – Clyde v Celtic beats Ciara, extra-special Greek visitors at Paradise

IT’S CLYDE v CELTIC in the Scottish Cup today after the hosts confirmed that the match is ON. There were fears that the game would fall victim to Storm Ciara and a meeting was held this morning at Broadwood Stadium to assess the conditions.

Had the weather been too severe the game would have been postponed and played on Wednesday night, meaning that the Hearts game would have had to be postponed. “Today’s William Hill Scottish Cup match against Celtic will go ahead as planned, following checks and discussions with the relevant authorities this morning,” Clyde FC have confirmed.

If that is its case we can go TEN points clear leaving them with two games in hand and we can all wait on fixture congestion complaints and calls to extend the season! We’ve been here before.

Meanwhile there were some very special Greek visitors to Celtic Park yesterday as Matt Corr has been explaining on Twitter. Have a look…
