Andrew Milne, hosts Celtic AM and he explains below what is happening tomorrow  at Celtic AM,  Malones, 57-59 Sauchiehall Lane, Glasgow G2 4AB from 11am-2pm…

CELTIC AM – SATURDAY 31 MARCH, MALONES IRISH BAR, SAUWCHIEHALL LANE, GLASGOW 11AM-2PM

Celtic AM has become a big part of the pre-match experience for many Celtic fans. Irish based fans are joining like minded Celtic fans from around Scotland and beyond for a morning/ early afternoon of chat and music.

So for those who don’t yet know, what is Celtic AM?

Celtic AM is basically a live version of More than 90 Minutes hosted by the fanzines editor yours truly, Andrew Milne where I am joined by 4 guests from within the Celtic family including former Celtic players, fan representatives, writers, poets, film makers, musicians, charity representatives and supporters who simply have a good story to tell.

Those attending have had a chance to meet, chat and get a picture with a host of Celtic players from the 1960’s right through to the MON years and every era in between.

This Saturday doors open at 11am and there is free bacon rolls for all the early birds who want to be sure of a seat as it fills up pretty fast and Celtic fans of all ages are invited as it is a family friendly event.

Keith Murray will get the show going at 11:30am with some Celtic songs and we kick off with our first guest at Noon. The final whistle is at 2pm to give everybody time to get to Celtic Park to see the Champions take on Ross County.

Our Celtic AM guests tomorrow at Malones are:

*Celtic’s WIllie McStay who will be in to talk about his career, Celtic’s Youth Policy, Liam Miller and his current role at the club.

*Paul Quigley will join me to chat about the OBA introduction and the struggle that faced FAC in defeating the bill.

*Kevin Graham from The Celtic Star will be along to tell us about the new independent media outlet for Celtic fans and The Celtic Star: A Celtic State of Mind podcast who record Celtic AM on a regular basis. (He’ll be on the tea and biscuits due to Podcast and match coverage duties for The Celtic Star).

Jim Craig at the previous Celtic AM event, listen to him on the Podcast below.

*Joe Mackin will also be along to bring us up to date with the great work of the Kano Foundation.

Issue 98 will be on sale and there will be a raffle in aid of the Kano Foundation ahead of the fanzine’s annual dinner in Glasgow which takes place later on where we will be raising funds for both the Kano and the Paradise Steps charity.
