Green Brigade confirm Flag Day tifo for Celtic legends

Celtic ultras the Green Brigade have confirmed that they will be organising two tifos on Flag Day. In a statement issued on Twitter on Thursday evening, the North Curve fan group confirmed their intention to honour John Clark and John Fallon, who both sadly passed away during the offseason.

Celtic supporters growing up, Clark and Fallon went from supporting the Hoops to being part of the legendary Lisbon Lions, who conquered Europe in 1967 under Jock Stein. Both remained constant figures around Celtic Park with Clark working as a coach and latterly as kitman. Meanwhile, Fallon enjoyed going to games as a supporter both home and away.

The statement confirms that the Lisbon Lions stand will host a tifo before kickoff while a second tifo will be displayed prior to the second half kicking off. The group have urged supporters in the North Curve to retain materials as the section will honour the two legends.

It is fitting that two Celtic legends will be honour by the supporters on Flag Day at Paradise. Their influence on the club will stand the test of time and it fitting that fans can say farewell to two Lions.
