Greg Taylor reckons that his Celtic teammate Kyogo, is the stand-out for Player of the Year, after dubbing him ‘frightening’…

Following Celtic’s 2-0 win over Hearts at Tynecastle, Celtic have now seized their 53rd League title. Celtic’s main man Kyogo stepped up and scored the first goal to put Celtic in front in the 67th minute.

This now brings Kyogo’s scoring tally to 30 goals this season, and his 50th club goal. With his form only seeming to improve week by week, Celtic full-back, Greg Taylor gave his thoughts on the Japanese striker. As reported by the GlasgowTimes, Taylor said: “One word? Impossible. The guy’s frightening. It’s not just his goals, it’s his work for the team. I don’t know if he’ll get it, but he’d be a right contender and probably deserved player of the year in my opinion.”

Greg Taylor continues his praise for Kyogo by revealing his disbelief in the Celtic striker’s skill and ability to put the ball in the net. He explains: “I didn’t even know he got a touch for the goal on Sunday. there you go. but I’m not surprised. He does that kind of finish constantly. what a player! he’s a great team-mate, always willing to work for the team. so, unbelievable.”
