The Swedish central defender was signed in the summer of 2023 but failed to capitalise on first team appearances and found himself sidelined by Brendan.
As reported by Sky Sports’ Anthony Joseph, Lagerbielke has left Celtic’s pre season training camp to link up with Braga ahead of a £2m move.
UPDATE: Celtic centre-back Gustaf Lagerbielke has completed a medical ahead of a £2m move to Braga.
It’s understood he’s travelled to Austria with Braga today for their pre-season training camp.

Lagerbielke was signed on the recommendation of compatriot Carl Starfelt as a like-for-like replacement to slot in beside Cameron Carter-Vickers with Starfelt leaving for Celta Vigo.
The away defeat to Feyenoord sticks out as a turning point for the young defender, he was sent off in a game that Celtic appeared to have control, resulting in a defeat. After that, he fell out of the first team picture and despite his late winner in the reverse tie, the die was cast.
